Nigeria’s Super Eagles have maintained their position in the World rankings after world football governing body, FIFA released its latest on Thursday.
Nigeria remains 52nd in the world, and seventh in Africa, same positions when the rankings were last released.
Super Eagles aren’t the only team whose position remained the same, Serbia, one of two teams Nigeria will face later this month in a friendly game, also maintained their 34th position.
However, the other team Nigeria will also be meeting this month, Poland, are the only team to move in the top 20, climbing one spot to sixth, alongside former world champions, Spain.
Meanwhile, Germany remain the number one footballing nation in the world, closely followed by five-time world champions, Brazil.
The top five is completed by European champions, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
