Senegal Football Federation says it has concluded a budget of $2 million for the bonuses of the national team ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The body says the decision was reached to allow early planning and to avoid frictions with the players in the payment of bonuses.
Each of the 23 players to be selected for the tournament will be entitled to $38,000, same amount for each member of the technical staff.
The amounts are basic and participation bonuses. The team would get more money as they progress in the Mundial, according to the FA.
The Teranga Lions are returning to the World Cup 16 years after an inspiring debut in 2002 in Korea and Japan, marked by a 1-0 victory against then defending champions France.
Senegal have been pitted against Colombia, Poland and Japan in Group H, and will open their campaign against the White and Reds on June 19.
