The coach of Niger United Handball Club, Yekini Adebayo, advised his players not to get too confident after their performance in the first phase of the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League.
Niger United is currently leading the men’s table with 30 points after the end of the first phase in Benin, Edo state last July.
Adebayo emphasized the need for discipline and hard work on and off the court.
He revealed that Niger United is fully prepared for the task ahead and looking forward to winning all their matches.
The former National U23 gaffer said, “Niger United is fully ready for the second phase of the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League in Lagos. I know the players are going to make the state proud by the special grace of God.
“For the team to succeed, they have to be disciplined, work extra on the court and most importantly not to be carried away by the result of the first phase. Niger United lost a match and drew with Kano Pillars which till today still hurts me.
Adebayo informed www.aclsports.com that Niger United is still expecting financial support from the Governor before the league commences.
