The PSG fullback has been granted a work permit, and can now complete his much anticipated move to the PL side, after both clubs agreed a fee of around £23 million.
The 24-year-old, who was also intensely linked with a move to another PL side, Manchester United, has already completed a medical, and agreed personal terms with Spurs.
Aurier was given a two-month suspended sentence for assaulting a police officer last year, which prevented him from entering the UK and also missed the CL clash between his club, PSG and Spurs’ city rivals, Arsenal.
The controversial defender has since appealed the sentence, with the outcome yet to be made public.
Aurier has spent his entire career in France, playing for Ligue 1 sides, Lens and Toulouse, from where he joined PSG in 2015.
