Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive preseason form after leading Leicester City to victory in their final game on Saturday.
Iheanacho netted a brace in just over an hour on the pitch as Leicester came from behind to claim a 2-1 win over French side, Lille LOSC.
Those goals took his off-season tally to four in just three matches for the Foxes, with the Nigerian looking in superb form ahead of the 2018/2019 Premier League season kicking off on August 10.
Lebo Mothiba’s fourth minute effort had the home side in front, before Iheanacho equalised for Leicester with a wonderful header before the break.
After the restart, the 22-year-old had Leicester in front for the first time, when he scored his second of the evening before the hour mark.
The Foxes held on for the win, their second in five matches as they signed off from preseason with a victory.
With Iheanacho looking very sharp, Leicester would be hoping he takes his fine form into the new season.
The Foxes travel to Old Trafford next Friday to take on Manchester United in the opening game of the PL season.
Meanwhile, the former Manchester City star was not the only Nigerian on the pitch, as compatriot and team mate, Wilfred Ndidi also featured for Leicester.
Like Iheanacho, Ndidi also played for over an hour before their were both replaced.
Both Iheanacho and Ndidi were part of the Nigerian team that featured in the recently concluded 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia
