Nigerian, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi claimed his first title of the season by winning the men’s Shot Put event at the 7th Larry Wieczorek Invitational with a throw of 20.63m.
Nick Curtis got 2nd position with 20.10m while Tyler Sudduth finished third position with 18.80m.
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi expressed dissatisfaction despite winning the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in his first championship in 2024.
He told www.aclsports.com his throw of 20.63m was not a great start, insisting that he still has room for improvement despite another dominant shotput victory in the US.
Enekwechi said: “I’m not happy with my throw but I’m just getting into the season, I have some training to do, work on my execution but I’ll be fine.

“The good thing is that I won. My coach will give me some training to do and I should be fine, so I’ve got no worries”.
The National Champion said his attention is now on the forthcoming 2024 Hvezdy v Nwhvizdech Indoor Tour Silver World Athletics in Czech Republic next February.
The Commonwealth Silver medallist said, “I will perform much better when I throw in Europe”.
