The ex-Warri Wolves of Nigeria forward put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Potters before jetting out to Russia.
He played in all three matches for the Super Eagles at the just concluded FIFA World Cup, showing his new club and fans what to expect from him with his energetic displays in midfield for Nigeria.
The 22-year-old spent half of last season on loan in the La Liga, where he featured consistently for Las Palmas, who were relegated at the end of the 2017/2018 season.
Etebo, who was one of Nigeria’s star performers in Russia, also came out as one of the competition’s accomplished dribblers, after completing 16 of 17 attempted dribbles in three games.
He has been capped 17 times by Nigeria, with three of those coming at the 21st World Cup in Russia.
