FIFA’s Players’ Status Committee has handed Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) a 30-day ultimatum to sort former coach Clarence Seedorf, who was fired “abusively” from the Indomitable Lions after the team fell to Nigeria in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
The Dutchman filed a complaint to FIFA following his removal alongside assistant and countryman Patrick Kluivert.
In a letter sent to Fecafoot, FIFA asked the body to pay €316 000 as compensation to Seedorf within the stipulated period.
Seedorf was appointed in August 2018 and sacked in July 2019. The Lions are now led by Portuguese coach Toni Conceicao.
