As part of their preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived Spain where they will play two friendly games including a high profile clash with Canada.
Having already played two matches at the China Tournament in Meizhou in January and four matches at the Cyprus Women’s Cup in February, the Falcons will first play a first division club, UMF Selfoss on Thursday, 4th April; before the encounter with the Canadians on Monday, 8th April. The matches will hold in the city of Murcia.
Currently ranked 5th in the World, Canada would look to use their clash with the Super Falcons of Nigeria as part of their World Cup preparation against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon who have been grouped alongside them for the finals in France.
