HC Beer Sheba of Israel has signed Nigeria International, Obinna Anih from Maccabi Tel Aviv player. The Nigerian midfielder played two seasons for Maccabi Tel Aviv before making a move to Beer Sheba.
The former Phoenix Handball Club of Gabon told www.aclsports.com that his dream is to play at the next season’s European Handball Champions League with HC Beer Sheba.
Anih promised to repay the truth the coach, Avner Drori has in him adding that his partnership with his former teammate, Ilya Mosenko will transform the squad.
He said “First of all, I want to give God all the glory for this major signing. I am really happy to join one of the big clubs here in Israel because I have hoped and prayed for this all my life.
“My dream is to lift the trophy with Beer Sheba and eventually play in the European Handball Champion League”.
The Ex Benue Buffalos player said, “The vision of my coach, Avner Drori is to build a strong and formidable team, I believe Ilya Mosenko and I have what it takes to make a change. I have a real positive feeling that I will be of great help to the team and I am focused about this”.
