The head coach of Edo Dynamos, Aaron Okojie says he is on top of the world after his side defeated defending champions, Plateau Peacock 19-18 at the ongoing 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.

He told www.aclsports.com that before the encounter, he knew his side was capable of oppressing Peacocks.

Okojie praised his girls for their unrelenting spirit displayed during the encounter with the defending champion.

He said, “I am currently on top of the world and cannot describe how I feel. During the match, I never gave up for a minute because I knew the table could turn at anytime. After the technical error from the Plateau Peacocks side in the last 30 seconds, I knew all was over.

“Before the match between Plateau Peacocks, I had the conviction that we will beat them. They led us in the first half by 3 goals but they could not contend with our defence as my girls became more deadly in the second half. I must commend their never say never attitude during the last 5 minutes of the game; they did not lose concentration and stick to the game plan”

Coach Okojie promised to give Defenders Babes a good fight when they meet on match Day 4.

He said, “Defenders Babes lost their match against Kada Queens and I am sure they will love to get two points off us. I am sorry to disappoint them; Edo Dynamos is not ready to surrender any point”.
