2018 Commonwealth Games champion, Rolland Ezuruike (54kg) believes there are no challengers in his weight class at the upcoming International Para Powerlifting Championships in Lagos.

The National champion told www.aclsports.com that Nigerians should expect nothing less than gold from him.

The Imo born lifter said, “The International Para Powerlifting Championships is taking place for the very first time in Nigeria and I believe since it is happening here, no one will defeat me in front of my home crowd”.

“I am not only ready for the championships but motivated to set a record in my father’s land. We have been traveling round the world winning medals, this is the right time to replicate such feat”, he added.
