Plateau Peacock player, Joyce Mafwil said she is ready to crush her opponents at the second phase of the Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.
The certified taekwondo coach said the first phase in Abuja was tough but she will be more tougher on other players.
Mafwil told www.aclsports.com that she is not happy Plateau Peacock did not top the league at first phase.
She said, “I am ready to crush my opponents on the court; there is no time for me to slack on the court.
Responding if Plateau Peacock will retain their title, Joyce Mafwil said, “I do not want to talk much, let us meet in Lagos so that we can decide.
“You are aware some of my teammates played at the U17 and U21 African Championships including the 2019 African Games in Morocco, I am optimistic they will make an impact in the second phase.
“As an older player, my job is to motivate the younger players and letting them know the importance of sports”, the pivot player added.
The second phase of the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League is scheduled for 5th to 17th October, 2019 at Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba, Lagos.
