Spanish and LaLiga giants, Real Madrid, have confirmed the transfer of Brazilian wonderkid, Jesus Reinier, from Flamengo, ACLSports reports.

Madrid confirmed they have  reached an agreement with their counterparts in Brazil for the permanent signing of the youngster following a statement on their official website on Monday evening.

“(Real) Madrid and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have reached an agreement over the transfer of Reinier, ” the statement read in parts.

Reinier will put pen to paper on a six-year contract reportedly worth €30m until the summer of 2026.

The 17-year-old Brazilian star is expected to join Madrid’s B team, Castilla, after his involvement in a pre-Olympic tournament with his country’s u23 team.

Reinier becomes Madrid’s latest Brazilian youngster after the arrival of compatriots, Vinicius Junior in 2017 and Rodrygo in 2018.

He scored six goals in 14 Serie A appearances for Flamengo last season.
