According to the scribe of the federation, Mallam Haruna Maigidansama said the teams will play different friendly games in preparation ahead of the tournament.

The statement added that Abdulkadir Yusuf and Esther Lambert would be in charge of the Cadets female team.

In an interview with www.aclsports.com, Stella Ndudi said this is an opportunity to return the country to the world map.

The ex international said, “For all the players who have been given the opportunity to showcase the talent will be happy to be in camp and to bring handball to its past glory”.

“As far as the game is concerned, our duty is to make sure these athletes harness their hidden potentials.

We are all aware that this generation has not been playing tournaments like the past ones but we will still have to impact our knowledge in them for them to play better than the old ones. When we were in the age group, we did not know anything before then; coaches taught us how to play and impacted knowledge into us”, the former Imo grasshopper player said.
