The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2021/22 continued on Saturday as some games from matchday 15 were played across six venues.

Rivers United maintained their grip on the top spot after a 2-1 win over Nasarawa United. Goals from Akuneto Chijioke and Ishaq Rafiu set them on the path of another routine win before Micahel Tochukwu scored a consolation for the Solid Miners 18minutes from time. Meanwhile, Dakkada pipped Lobi Stars 2-1 in Uyo.

Remo Stars got a 2-0 win over Katsina United to put an end to their losing streak of three games in the top-flight. In Okigwe, it ended in another defeat for Shooting Stars against Abia Warriors.

In the battle of former champions in Nnewi, Enugu Rangers and Kano Pillars played out a goalless draw, while Heartland continued their dominance over Enyimba with a 1-0 win in Owerri.
