After a little lengthy wait, the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season got underway on Friday with twenty (20) teams slugging it out for the next thirty eight match weeks.
After over four months of break following the conclusion of the last season on August 5, Nigeria’s apex league is set to go once again with the League Management Company (LMC) hoping to leverage on the promises of the last season.

A number of changes have been made, a few clubs will play outside of their traditional home grounds and with the scarcity of information, our Chief Football Writer Fisayo Dairo brings you the information you cannot find anywhere else.
