Aside Nwaodu, Ogunbote also signed striker Okonkwo who played under him when he was in charge of Enyimba in the 2016/17 season.
Agbekpornu is a Ghanaian defender who joined Heartland from Ashanti Gold at the end of 2018. The 24-year old centre back was thrown straight into the starting lineup for Sunday’s win over MFM.
While Ogunbote is welcoming new arrivals to his team, they are also bracing up for the exit of two sons of the soil – Solomon Kwambe and Raphael Ayagwa – who have been snapped up by American side Tusla Rouchnecks.
Star striker Sikiru Alimi has also left the club for Tunisian side Stade Tunisien. Lobi Stars will face Rivers United in NPFL Match Day 15 action in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
