Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede says his team does not have sufficient information about their CAF Champions League opposition Medeama SC of Ghana ahead of their clash next month, www.aclsports.com reports.
The two teams were paired together during the draw yesterday for their respective maiden appearance in the competition. The first leg of the contest has been scheduled to hold in Ghana on the weekend of August 18-20 with the second to leg to hold in Nigeria a week later.

Ijaball, as he is fondly called, expressed his mind on the tie while speaking to the club’s media department on Wednesday.
“For now, we are yet to get vital information about Medeama SC, all we have now is that they’re privately owned like us and imagine them taking all big teams in Ghana to the cleaners and are a force to be reckoned with.
“Unfortunately we don’t have much information and we look like an underdog to them already,” he said.
He also went on to speak about playing the second leg at home and how it can help his side in the contest generally.
“For sure, it should be an added advantage for us going to Ghana first and the experience we’ve had from the CAF Confederation Cup last season should also help put us in the right frame of mind.
“We’ve long forgotten about the issue of fatigue as I mentioned that period was playing the Super 8 just days after the league season ended,” the gaffer reacted to a question about fatigue in the squad.
“The players have been able to rest for some days now and we are only thinking of preparing them physically and mentally for the task ahead,” he concluded.
Ogunmodede, who returned to the club at the start of last season, led the Ikenne side to their highest finish (second) in the Nigeria Premier Football League in June.
Remo Stars played in the CAF Confederation Cup last season only to lose out to ASFAR of Morocco in the first round and will be hoping for memorable outing this time around.
