Nigerian-born Equato-Guinean star Oluwatobiloba Olanrewaju has signed a one-year contract extension with Spanish side Racing Femenino, www.aclsports.com reports.
Olanrewaju who joined the Liga Iberdrola side in January after a brief spell at Sporting Huelva will now stay one more season with the Women’s team of Racing Satander, the club announced on Monday night.
Tobi, as the 24-year old is known in Spain made at least six appearances for her team before the league season was called off in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Since joining Racing Femenino in January, Olanrewaju’s versatility has proved an asset for the club; the former Rivers Angels star having featured as a midfielder and an attacker for the team.

“I’m excited and it feels great to have extended my contract with the club,” an elated Olanrewaju told www.aclsports.com
“It is a step in the right direction for my career because I have enjoyed the last few months I spent here.”
The midfielder will join her Racing Femenino teammates in pre-season starting from the 3rd of August with the new Reto Iberdrola season scheduled to commence in September.
Olanrewaju, a full international at national team level with Equatorial Guinea is the fourth Racing star to sign contract extensions in the past four days.
