The defender, who moved to the rainbow nation after winning the NPFL title with Akwa United in 2021, secured his first title with the Buccaneers after they defeated AmaZulu 1-0 in the MTN 8 Final on Saturday.

Pirates shocked defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns at the semi-final stage of the competition to book their place in the final showdown against AmaZulu.

In the keenly contested final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in front of a capacity crowd, it was Monnapule Saleng who scored the only goal of the game via a sensational free-kick in the 25th minute.

Congratulations to Olisa Ndah - @olisandah6 on your first title with @orlandopirates 👏👏👏

Ndah, who was part of the Super Eagles squad at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, featured from start to finish.

After last season’s disappointment in the CAF Confederation Cup final where Pirates lost on penalties to RS Berkane in Uyo, this triumph will come as a huge motivation for Ndah and his teammates for the rest of the season.

Ndah has made 16 appearances for the Bucs this season across all competitions and will be hoping to get more games under his belt in order to get a look in from Super Eagles gaffer Jose Peseiro in the forthcoming games.
