Oyewale Oyedepo has joined Nabih Saleh SC Volleyball Club for the 23/24 Bahrain Volleyball League.

Oyedepo played for Al Wasl VC of Dubai in the 2022/23 United Arab Emirate Volleyball League.

The former National U19 and U21 player expressed delight making his debut in the Bahrain Volleyball League, promising to give his best during his one-year stint.

Oyedepo told www.aclsports.com that his move to Bahrain will open more doors for Nigeria players with exceptional talents.

He said, “I am excited to finally sign for Nabih Saleh of Bahrain in the 2023/24 league season. Last season, I played for Al Wasl Volleyball Club and was able to make meaningful contributions to the club.

“Another opportunity has presented itself in Bahrain and I promise not to let myself and the country down.

“I have heard how some Nigeria volleyball players like Sule Courage aka MOG, Arum Ashom, Matthew Ejeh aka Papaneh, Ogbonanya Okoh and Nathan Achohol made waves in the Bahrain Volleyball League. I will capitalise on their successes recorded and put Nigeria back in the heart of the people”.

The African U19 Champion said he will be more fit with more playing time ahead of international championships for Nigeria.
