Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea was the hero as they ended Watford’s unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win at the Vicarage Road.
Two first half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling put United ahead, before Andre Gray’s second half effort for Watford ensure a tense finish to the game.
De Gea then made two outstanding saves in added time, moments after United were reduced to ten men after Nemanja Matic was sent off for two yellow card offences, to deny Watford a late equaliser.

The Spaniard had been a Shadow of himself since the World Cup, but put on a man of the match performance against Watford to ensure the Red Devils left with all three points.
Javi Garcia’s men were one of three sides yet to drop points this season, but United produced a disciplined and efficient performance to bring to a halt their four-game winning streak.
It was a good first half from Jose Mourinho’s side, with two goals in the space of four minutes sealing their first back-to-back wins of the season.
“I think when you’re on top and 2-0 up there’s always that danger when they get one back. It was a battle and we had to dig in” Chris Smalling said moments after the match.
Watford remain fourth on the log with 12points despite the result, while United find themselves eighth, three points away from their hosts, who occupy the last Champions League spot.
Next up for both sides, the Red Devils take on Young Boys in the CL, while Watford make a short trip to Fulham next weekend.
