“Ajax has completed the transfer of Daley Blind,” the club said in a statement on their official website, following announcement of an agreement with the Red Devils a day earlier.
The 28-year-old began his career at Ajax, making his senior debut on December 7, 2008 before joining FC Groningen on loan in the 2009-2010 season.
He left the club in 2014 for the English Premier League, where he played 141 games for United, winning the UEFA Europa League, Emirates FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield with the team.
The versatile player, who featured 143 times for Ajax’s first team, scoring three goals, won the Eredivisie four times and the Johan Cruyff award in 2013.
