English Premier League side, Liverpool have completed the signing Brazilian goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, according to the club on Thursday.
Alisson joins from Italian side, AS Roma, for a world record fee of £66million, making the Brazilian the most expensive goalkeeper ever.
He has since put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Reds after completing and passing his medical.
“Liverpool have completed the signing of goalkeeper, Alisson Becker from AS Roma,” the club confirmed on their official website.

Speaking on the move, Alisson expressed his happiness, and cannot wait to get started.
“I’m really happy, it’s a dream come true to wear such a prestigious shirt for a club of this size that is used to always winning,” he said.
The 25-year-old started his career in Brazil with hometown club, internacional before joining Roma in 2016, helping the Italians to a third place finish in Serie A and the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2017.
He featured 64 times in this two seasons at the capital club, before representing Brazil at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia.
