“I’m very glad and happy and proud to finally be here and officially become a Fulham player. I’m happy to the moon and back,” the striker said to Fulham TV after signing a five-year deal that will keep him at Craven Cottage till 2023.
Mitrovic originally joined the Whites in a late January transfer deadline day loan move and went on to have a huge impact on Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League scoring 12 goals in 17 starts.
This feat endeared him to the fans in what he admits is a mutual feeling between both parties hence promising to do more with their support. “I have love for the fans. They’re amazing fans and I have a really good connection with them.
“This is a big club and last year we made history, we did big things, and I want to continue this. We want to keep making big things, and with all the fans behind us I think we can go far.”
