The Olukoya Girls defeated Nigeria Customs 64-60 last Sunday in the final match decided at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos crowning the club’s remarkable few years of existence.

In his response to Governor Sanwo-Olu’s remarks, Enakhena who is also the chairman of Lagos based Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Sporting Lagos thanked the state’s helmsman for his support at providing the enabling environment for Sports to thrive in the state.

Enakhena also emphasised the importance of collective effort in sports development; insisting that no single man can work on his own to bring sporting excellence to a team but only through teamwork and dedication.
