Tottenham star, Harry Kane, is off the mark for the season after Spurs survived a scare from promoted Aston Villa in their season opener at the Hotspur stadium on Saturday.
Spurs were made to work hard for their victory as they came from behind to defeat Villa 3-1 in the late kickoff.

With just nine minutes on the clock, Villa took a shock lead through John McGinn, who put them 0-1 ahead at the break with a composed finish from inside the box.
Tottenham regrouped after the break and it didn’t take long for them to draw level as record signing, Tanguy Ndombele, grabbed a memorable debut goal to level the score at 1-1.
Just when the away side and their fans were beginning to think they had done enough to take at least a point, Kane broke their hearts with two late strikes to seal the win and three points for Spurs.

Having gone 1000 minutes without scoring a goal in August before finally breaking that hoodoo against Fulham last season, the England international has effectively exorcised the lack of goals in August spirit.
The goals against Villa today mean he has now scored in August in two consecutive seasons, and also taken his goals tally against Villa to six in six games.
“We made it hard but kept knocking on the door, ” Kane said to premierleague.com moments after the game.
“They made it tough for us, but it is nice to start the season at home and get off to a winning start in front of the fans, ” he added.
