Stella Ndudi says Imo Grasshoppers is taking the handball trophy to Owerri after the end of the second phase of the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.
Imo Grasshoppers continued their unbeaten run as they defeated Defenders Babes 26-20
Ndudi who is the head coach of Imo Grasshoppers said she did her homework properly, studying previous clip before coming for the second phase.
She said, “Everybody came prepared for this league; we have done our homework before coming to Lagos. My girls deserve to lift the trophy because they are playing very well. I took my time to study previous clips from the first phase in Abuja before attending the second phase.
“I urge the fans of Imo Grasshoppers to pray for us in order to lift the trophy this year”.
Stella Ndudi said everyone in her team is a potential threat to their opponents.
The ex international told www.aclports.com that the current Imo state government are passionate about handball.
She said, “Imo state government led by Honourable Emeka Ihedioha has been motivating Imo Grasshoppers since he came on board; he is behind us. As you all know, the governor is renovating the historic stadium of Grasshoppers and before the end of next year, Imo state will have the biggest and most beautiful handball court in Africa.
“Unlike previous years were we sponsoring ourselves but we thank God we have a sport loving governor”.
