Forgotten Super Eagles star, Henry Onyekuru has announced his return to Galatasaray and the Turkish Super Lig in the best possible fashion, ACLSports can report.

Onyekuru came off the bench to score a brace as Galatasaray survived a scare from Gaziantep FK to record a 1-2 win away from home.
“To God be the glory,” Onyekuru posted via his official social media accounts after the game.
“Grateful for the victory and to be able to get back (to) scoring,” the post concluded.
With the game still goalless at the break, Onyekuru replaced fellow Africa, Younes Belhanda just before the start of the second half and the 23-year-old took just five minutes to repay his manager, Fatih Terim’s faith and trust.
Onyekuru’s opener was assisted by the VAR after he latched on to a Ryan Babel pass to hit a right-footed shot of the box into the bottom right corner on 51 minutes.

13 minutes from time, the Nigerian doubled Galatasaray’s lead when he tucked home off a Mohammed Kerem pass for his and Gala’s second of the evening.
The home side pulled one goal back in added time but it was rather too late for an unlikely comeback as Onyekuru and Galatasaray took the win and three points.
A wonderful start to his second coming following his return to Galatasaray four days ago from French side, AS Monaco.
The Turkish side have the option to make Onyekuru’s stay permanent this time at the end of the season especially should he continue like this.
Onyekuru last featured in a game back in September 19, 2020 for Monaco with his last goal coming for Galatasaray in a 1-3 win over bitter rivals Fenerbahce back in February 23, 2020.
