Agboola Shittu has taken over as head coach of Ardova Handball Premier League club, TojeMarine HC.

Shittu who doubles as the Coach of Nigeria U18 Girls’ Team will be making his return to clubside handball after three years of absence due to personal reasons.

Shittu who has been into coaching for a decade has formally tutored Lagos Seasiders and Seasiders Babes.

Speaking with www.aclsports.com, Shittu said he is proud and happy to have joined TojeMarine HC, and currently hoping to take the club to higher levels.

“I am very proud and happy to have joined TojeMarine HC, I hope to help the team to the level at which the club wants to ascertain.”

“I have an ambition this season, before now the club has decided to maintain their stay in the Ardova Handball Premier League which is my desire too but I will be so grateful if we go on to win the trophy.

He said the players are eager to make a statement at the 2023 Ardova League and underestimating TojeMarine will be unwise of any clubside.
