Nigeria’s two representatives in the 2018/19 Total CAF Confederation Cup (TOTALCAFCC) ; Enyimba FC and Rangers International have set up camps in Ogun State, South West Nigeria ahead of their away games this weekend.
Both teams were in action in away games domestically last weekend with Enyimba securing a 1-1 draw in Kano against Jigawa Golden Stars while Rangers continued their winless run under Salisu Yusuf with a 0-1 loss at Kwara United.
The People’s Elephant have now moved from Kano to Otta in spite of the hitches they encountered on their road to the South West town, near Lagos on Monday afternoon.
Enyimba will still be without central defensive pair Nelson Ogbonnaya and Ifeanyi Anaemena for the game but goalkeepers Olufemi Kayode and Theophilus Afelokhai should make the trip to face AC Paradou in Algeria.
For Rangers, the Flying Antelopes arrived Ijebu-Ode on Monday for closed camping ahead of their trip to Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou.
The technical crew, led by head coach Salisu Yusuf is working with a team of eighteen players that will prosecute Sunday’s must-win game against FC Nouadhibou.
They will travel to Lagos on Wednesday before flying out of the country on Thursday via Gabon to Mauritania. The match will hold on Sunday in Nouakchott.
