Nigerian star Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Olawoyin has completed his move to Turkish Division One side Çaykur Rizespor from league rivals Ankara Keçiorengucu, the club announced on Monday evening.
Olawoyin, 25, has been a shinning light since joining Keçiorengucu from Nigerian side Rangers International eighteen months ago and has now joined Rizespor who are hoping to make a swift return to the Super Lig.
Olawoyin is Turkish Division One’s assist leader this season with seven assists and four goals to his name during the first half of the season. He now joins fellow Nigerian midfielder Okechukwu Azubuike who joined Rizespor last week.
Olawoyin interestingly could make his Rizespor debut against his immediate past side Ankara Keçiorengucu when the Division One resumes for the second half of the season this weekend.
