Alex Iwobi made a successful return to the Arsenal starting eleven after the Gunners kicked off their European campaign with a 4-2 victory over Vorskla Poltava.

Having missed his side last three games, the playmaker helped himself to an assist, providing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with a perfect cross to slot home Arsenal’s opener.

Danny Welbeck added a second just after the break, before Aubameyang netted his second and Arsenal’s third goal of the game.

Mesut Ozil would come off the bench to make it 4-0 for Arsenal, before Volodimir Chesnakov and Vyacheslav Sharpar grabbed  two late goals for the visitors.

The Gunners have now won four consecutive games, having lost their first two games this season. Next up for them, they hosts Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
