Striker Victor Mbaoma, in an interview with http://enyimbafc.net, confessed the gloomy mood around the club following a run of below par results, but he is optimistic that they would turn it around.
Mbaoma, who scored Enyimba’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Plateau United at the weekend, reached the 40th goal mark in his NPFL career as his side failed to win at home again.
In his interaction via the club’s website, the striker began by stating the obvious about the feeling of the fans.
“The fans are not pleased with everything that is happening, but we’ll keep doing our best to turn things around,” said the Remo Stars product.

Despite the former Akwa United striker’s return of five goals in nine games, Enyimba’s form has been poor as they only recorded two wins over the same period.
“We’ll keep working hard to make sure we turn the table around, because we just have to get back to winning ways,” He added.
“I just hope and pray that everything will fall back to its right place and we will be happy again.”
The 25-year-old forward and Enyimba have had underwhelming results this term and they currently sit 14pts behind league leader Rivers United in ninth.
