Three times Africa Champion, Amas Daniel on Thursday told Nigeria not to expect a miracle from him at the World Wrestling Championship slated for Paris from 21st to 26th August, 2017.

The Olympian promised to give him best when the championship begins.

“We are going to give all we have in France but I can’t promise Nigerians what color of medal or what should be expected”.

“Some nations went for training tours, others invitational tournaments but all we did was to train amongst ourselves which is not helping matters”, Amas said.

“Before the commencement of the National camp organized by our President, Hon Daniel Igali, the Bayelsa state coach led by Victor Kodei take us on session twice a day. This is good but we need to wrestle non familiar foes in order to step up our game”, said the African Champion.

The Bayelsa born wrestler is an All Africa Games Gold medalist and a Commonwealth Games bronze medalist.
