Nigeria and Argentina were drawn in Group D of the 2018 World Cup, following the draw in Moscow, Russia on Friday. It will be the fifth time both nations have been drawn together in the same group in FIFA’s elite competition.

So, this got Nigerians talking on social media, and #YourSportsMemo has some of the best reactions.

We’re beating Argentina again. Let’s get ready for the World Cup. #worldcupdraws

Group D is hard tbh!

Iceland and Croatia are never to be written off.

FIFA should be reminded that Nigeria has already played Argentina in Russia.
We will send the result across. (Culled). I support this o

I see @NGSuperEagles going through in Group B with 9 points. Yep, I said it. #9jaAtTheWorldCup #9MobileFootball

Nigeria vs Argentina is the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich of the World Cup. #WorldCupDraw

— Solace Chukwu (@TheOddSolace) December 1, 2017

All things considered, even with the Argentina draw, Group D is about as kind a draw as could have been hoped for. Of the African sides, Morocco probably have it worst, although playing the easiest game (in theory) first gives them chance to get on the board early. #WorldCupDraw

Be it #argentina, #brazil or #germany, we will make a big difference this time. It does not matter. Our boys have grown and are matured. #FifaWorldCupDraw #WorldCupDraw #SuperEagles #2018naija4russia

Buhari needs to address this draw urgently. Is it by force to play Argentina in the World Cup?

— tyro (@DoubleEph) December 1, 2017

Nigeria should be able to make the semi final. The draw has be fair. Iceland and Croatia shouldn't be a problem. #WorldCupDraw #SuperEagles
