Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles are set to arrive Egyptian capital, Cairo on Monday ahead of Wednesday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

The Super Eagles have stayed back in Alexandria for about 36 hours after their second round win over Cameroon in that city on Sunday. They will now leave their home for the past twenty days on Monday afternoon.

The road trip from Alexandria to Cairo is expected to last for three hours, meaning that the Eagles will get to Cairo by 5pm after they might have left by 2pm local time.

Gernot Rohr’s team already have a training session scheduled for 9:00PM local time in Cairo on Monday, the kickoff time of Wednesday’s duel with South Africa.

Nigeria vs South Africa will hold at the 75,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday night.
