Nigeria completed an incredible comeback to defeat a Messi-less Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly in Krasnodar, Russia.
Argentina took a 2-0 lead, courtesy of a goalkeeping error by Daniel Akpeyi, who was penalised for handling the ball outside his area, with Ever Banega expertly converting the resultant freekick before Kun Aguero doubled the lead minutes later.

However, the Super Eagles staged an incredible fight back, first a superbly taken Kelechi Iheanacho free kick reduced the deficit at the break, before further goals from Alex Iwobi, who scored a brace, and debutant, Bryan Iwobi, completed the turn around.
Nigerians and supporters of the Super Eagles in their usual style took to their various Twitter accounts to react to the win.

Shehu will be on the edge of his seat now. Tyrone is a massive competition for RB.
Brown looks more assured at LB than Aina & Echiejile combined.
Uzoho with good grabs so far. Makes grabs so easy not like Ezenwa.
We now have competitions in the team. #PMFootball

What I like about this goal is that @alexiwobi shows Aguero-esque qualities in simply standing still in the box to make space. Smart. https://t.co/pxh0kujdK5

If Messi was the one who scored that Iwobi's classic, all of you will be having uncontrollable orgasms. But it is Iwobi, not much ecstasy.
I rest my case!

Argentina's Dybala reminds me of Tony Nwoye
Dude has been forming "youngster" and disturbing everybody in the league.
Called up for friendly (debate)
Dude couldn't perform.

There is nothing friendly about the way Nigeria is treating Argentina

– Tyronne Ebuehi superb in the second, Iwobi excellent and man of the match by a country mile.
– This 3-5-2 is not ready.
– @NGSuperEagles under Rohr is a counterattacking machine.
– Awaziem, Aina, Balogun, Akpeyi dire.

"No matter how good I am, I'll never get a call-up to the Russian national team. Hopefully Nigeria will notice me some day," Idowu said three years ago. They finally did. He needed 8 minutes to repay the faith. 🇳🇬https://t.co/UYTkhjqoE5
