Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has left the LaLiga club, Levante UD, for the French Ligue 1. Simon has sealed a season-long loan move to FC Nantes after the Ligue 1 confirmed they an agreement with Levante.

“Nantes and Levante have reached an agreement for the loan of Nigerian international, Moses Simon, ” Nantes said in an official statement on their website.

The move comes with an option for Nantes to sign Simon on a permanent deal should the 24-year-old impress during his time at the club.

He becomes the latest Super Eagles player and Nigerian to join the Ligue 1 after the arrival of attacking duo, Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru, who joined LOSC Lille and AS Monaco respectively.

Simon, who was part of the Super Eagles team that picked up a bronze medal at the AFCON2019 in Egypt, made 19 appearances in the LaLiga last season scoring just one goal for Levante.
