The Napoli forward, while speaking to the press after Tuesday’s training session, stressed the importance of the game and how prepared the boys are ahead of the crunch fixture.

“For this encounter, I think, of course, the players called up are ready, began the former U-17 World Cup Star.

“The game won’t be an easy, no team is easy in Africa. We have been surprised by Central African Republic (CAR) and of course we are ready for this game.

Osimhen, who has scored four goals in his past two club appearances, also went on to add that the goal is to qualify for the Mundial and that the team will give it their best.

“We need to go there and get the win if possible and we know for sure that in our home here, we will try to do everything possible to get a win and qualify for Qatar. I think we are ready.”

The first leg of the playoff match will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday (8:30pm Nigerian time).
